Open Kitchen Cafe at People’s History Museum

Our cafe offer at People’s History Museum has changed recently (statement as of Nov 24). We are working with our amazing partners at PHM to create new event spaces to meet increased demand for ethical and attractive venue hire spaces in Manchester City Centre.

As part of this transformation the existing cafe space has reduced in size and we have streamlined our food offer. The cafe at People’s History Museum has a strong focus on offering great value to museum visitors, including families, while still ensuring that all of our products are sustainable and ethical.

You’ll find organic Fairtrade coffees and teas, ethically sourced soft drinks, vegan and gluten free cakes, and a range of sandwiches and salad bowls.

Our wider project to create beautiful and ethical event spaces within the museum has made it necessary to reduce the food menu within the cafe, and you may find that the cafe is not the “foodie” venue it once was. We apologise to any of our cafe customers who enjoyed our previous small and large plates menu! Please know that this is part of a structured project with our amazing partners at People’s History Museum to create new and unique event spaces that will help to create financial sustainability at PHM for years to come.
