28th April 2026

“Open Kitchen have been invaluable in helping us to deliver everything from intimate meetings up to large scale events.

We love working with their team and can’t fault their honest, dedicated and supportive approach to working with clients. Their drive and purpose helping local communities and tackling food waste has truly cemented them as Manchester’s Better Business favourites, and rightfully so.”

Luke Bracey McKnight, Event Operations Manager at x+why

“We have worked closely with Open Kitchen for nearly two years now and have experienced nothing less than an outstanding service with every single order.

“Open Kitchen are not only reliable and loyal, but regularly bend over backwards to meet the needs of their clients.

“We have ordered almost every option from their menus and can safely say that every single order is delicious!

“We feel so blessed to have found Open Kitchen.”

Eleanor Pickering, Events Executive at Brabners

“The sessions were really engaging and pitched well for our year 6 cohort, the children enjoyed practicing chopping skills and learning about different kinds of vegetables.

“They all commented that making the summer rolls was an activity they could do at home and adapt with the fruits and veg available to them.”

Jocelin, Design Tech Teacher, Oswald Road Primary School – Chorlton

“Working with the Open Kitchen Manchester has been really energising, a professional, friendly and passionate team who have been great partners in making our events a success.

“Their understanding of the challenges in food and farming sector coupled with their social justice mission makes them uniquely placed to deliver meaningful change.

“As a supplier of local, sustainably grown fresh produce to Open Kitchen, we have been hugely impressed with their commitment to the well-being of our growers and the people who receive their food.”

Chris Walsh, The Kindling Trust

“People tend to focus on your social impact, but the first thing The Better Business Network members comment on is how amazing your food is, a step above any other catering I’ve seen.”

Jamie Bettles, Commercial Director at The Better Business Network

“SUEZ have been working with Open Kitchen since late 2021 when we opened the Renew Hub to help drive more reuse and repair across the region.

“Their values and ours are perfectly aligned when it comes to reducing waste and repurposing wonderful materials (food in their case) for the greater good.

“Their food is always top quality, tasty and provides a fantastic talking point when we are hosting visits from our stakeholders, customers and partners.

“Keep up the good work and I look forward to a repurposed lunch in the near future!”
